This was inspired by exchanges with an eccentric collector who sent his car to be restored but not all the parts. After repeated messages left on his machine a tattered box of valuable race car parts arrived. No one could tell if all the parts that were shipped actually made it to the shop, the box was so ill prepared.
I've always imagined some rare part rolling around on some post office floor...
