When Ron Kloetzli showed me his slides from the 1968 CanAm race in Las Vegas I about had a fit. These were terrific! I loved the atmosphere and of course the Harrah's truck, but I wanted to convey how lucky I felt being able to work from these crisp period photos. So I added the chain link fence but left a gap so the viewer could go behind the scenes too. The little news clipping is the same car finishing 2nd at the 1967 24 Hours of Le Mans before being modified for CanAm racing.
