PORTRAITS
Here's a remarkable guy. Yes, he's a fabulous motorcycle racer, but he also invented flexible plastic fenders for motorcycles, now that principle is used in just about ever automobile currently manufactured. He also came up a language that allowed NASA computers to communicate with manufacturing equipment for the space program to make things it couldn't make before. He's flown solo around the world and built an electric bike for flat track racing. Though I never raced against him I've been on the track with him during practice and even in his advanced years, he was fast! This was created for his Celebration of Life and is now part of the Skip Barber Museum.
