Mark Riley is one of the greats. He has some great siblings too and I love the time I spent with him and his brothers Dale and John for so many decades. I'm not sure how to describe him without sounding cliche but, funny, sincere, hard working, adventuresome, a great impersonator and judge of character. Ostensibly I did this piece for his widow Carleen but it was really a way for me to recon with his passing. It was a good opportunity to spend a lot of time looking at him and thinking back to all the great times. The photo was taken by Skip Waller and a terrific reference for Mark's stern glare that made you crack up.
