Leon Leyson
Oil on Canvas
22" x 28"

Leon Leyson didn't go to Fullerton College but was a frequent lecturer there.
He is noted for being the youngest Jew to be saved by Oskar Schindler during the Holocaust.
He re-met Schindler in Los Angeles in 1972, and Oskar recognized him immediately.
After the film Schindler's List was released Leon began publicly speaking about his experience to folks all across North America. A really inspirational speaker.
I loved doing this piece but his wife said he would never wear one of those J.C. Penny shirts. I just like doing stripes and thought it made him look accessible.
