I loved doing this black and white painting, it's been a long time since I've had the opportunity. It is so nice to have a quality image to work with, and this one was excellent! This was more or less a drafting exercise. I started by constructing the building, working back to front, right to left (because I'm left handed). Then benches were laid out, figures and cars added, then developed once everything was in place. Really fit my penchant for the tedious.
